Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book coaching, hire a court, join a social session, or enter a tournament with Activity Tennis Academy at Parklands Sports Club, Gate B, Nairobi. By confirming a booking you agree to them.

Anyone can book coaching, court time, and social play with us. You do not need to be a member of Activity Tennis Academy, and you do not need to join anything to get on court.

Membership is optional. It gives you discounted rates, priority booking, and member-only events — but every programme and court slot on this site is available to non-members at the standard price shown.

You do need to create a free account before paying, so that we can send your confirmation and you can manage your bookings. Creating an account is not the same as buying a membership, and it costs nothing.

A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and we have sent you a confirmation. Until then your slot is not held.

Court and coaching availability shown on the site reflects our live schedule, but slots can be taken by another customer while you are completing checkout. If that happens we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund you in full.

We may decline or cancel a booking where a court is closed for maintenance, a session does not reach minimum numbers, or a coach is unavailable. If we cancel, you receive a full refund or a credit, whichever you prefer.

All prices are shown in Kenya Shillings and include any applicable taxes. The amount you will be charged is displayed before you are sent to the payment page.

Payments are processed by Pesapal. You can pay by M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Visa, or Mastercard. If you pay by M-Pesa you will receive an STK push to your phone and confirm with your M-Pesa PIN.

Member discounts, where they apply to your account, are calculated automatically at checkout.

We may change our prices from time to time. The price that applies to your booking is the one shown at the moment you pay.

Each coaching package listing states the number of sessions included, how long each session lasts, and the maximum group size.

[TO CONFIRM: how long a package remains valid from the date of purchase, and what happens to sessions unused at the end of that period.]

[TO CONFIRM: how much notice a customer must give to cancel and receive a refund, and what proportion is refunded at each notice level — for example full refund beyond a set number of hours, partial within it, none for no-shows.]

[TO CONFIRM: whether refunds are returned to the original payment method or issued as club credit, and how long processing takes.]

If we cancel a session for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund or a credit.

Rescheduling is always subject to availability of a court and, for coaching, of your coach.

Our courts are outdoors and sessions can be affected by rain.

[TO CONFIRM: what happens when rain stops play — whether the session is credited, rescheduled, or refunded, and whether this differs depending on how much of the session was completed before it was stopped.]

[TO CONFIRM: who decides that conditions are unplayable, and how and when customers are told.]

• Please arrive a few minutes before your session starts. Court time runs from your booked start time whether or not you are on court.
• Non-marking tennis shoes must be worn on all courts.
• Court hire is booked in one-hour minimum blocks.
• Please follow Parklands Sports Club's rules while on the premises, including any dress code and guest policy.
• We may ask anyone behaving unsafely or abusively towards coaches, staff, or other players to leave without refund.

Junior bookings must be made by a parent or guardian, who confirms that the participant is fit to take part and discloses any relevant medical conditions or allergies.

Parents and guardians are responsible for dropping off and collecting juniors punctually. Our coaches supervise during scheduled session times only.

Tennis carries an inherent risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and should satisfy yourself that you are physically fit to do so.

We maintain our courts and equipment to a safe standard and our coaches are qualified. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones published at the time you booked.
